Our director, Janice Ironside has over 25 years experience as a teacher and director. She holds a Master's Degree from the University of South Carolina in Early Childhood Education. She is also a South Carolina Department of Social Services Master Trainer. She is certified in infant/child CPR, AED, and First Aid. She and her husband Jim enjoy Skyping with their grandchildren in Hawaii and gardening.
Mrs. Tessa Asbill is the lead teacher in our 4k class and afterschool program. She holds a degree from the University of South Carolina in Elementary Education. She is certified in infant/child/adult CPR, AED, and First Aid. She loves to spend time with her family (her daugther Megan is a MEGA alumni) and train and participate in 5k runs. With over 15 years of teaching experience she brings her invaluable expertise to MEGA
Allison McCraw is the lead teacher in our two/three year old classroom. She hold a certificate in Early Childhood Development, is CPR/First Aid certified and is a part of the TEACH program. Allison has over two years of childcare experience and is loved by both children and parents. In addition to teaching, Allison is a part of our gymnastics staff. She is a mother of five children and enjoys spending time with her family.
Kayla Pickler is our head gymnastics coach. Kayla grew up in the MEGA preschool program and was a competitive gymnast as well. She is USAG Safety and CPR/First Aid certified. Currently a student at the University of South Carolina, Kayla is majoring in Exercise Science and plans to attend graduate school. She has over five years of coaching experience and enjoys working with kids of all ages.
