About Us

Our director, Janice Ironside has over 25 years experience as a teacher and director.  She holds a Master's Degree from the University of South Carolina in Early Childhood  Education. She and her staff have worked hard to bring the best program to the children in Gilbert, Lexington and Batesburg/Leesville.

At MEGA Child Development Center we offer days packed full of activities.  Our curriculum enhances social, emotional, language, motor, and cognitive development.  We believe that children learn best when they are having fun!   Our center combines fun fitness and quality curriculum to bring out the best in your child!

• Our hours are 7:00 am to 6:00 pm
• We serve Breakfast, Lunch, and Afternoon Snack
• Highly qualified teaching staff trained in early childhood education, CPR and 1st  Aid and AED
• 2K, 3K, and 4K preschool
• Afterschool program
• gymnastics
• gardening and agriculture program
• STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) ages 2-12
